Hiring  Maintenance Technician

We’re seeking a hands-on individual who learns best by taking things apart and putting them back together. A Maintenance Technician’s role is to assist and maintain plant equipment of the facility. In addition, Maintenance Technicians will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner.

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights Vary) Days: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Nights: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance support to plant equipment such as: product flow pump, liquid and air pumping, seal replacement of liquid pumps, repair diaphragm pumps, mechanical and fluid flow.
  • Troubleshoot, remove, rebuild, and install pumps.
  • Handles all maintenance of equipment, such as forklifts and power washers.
  • Conducts all maintenance of the production facilities, all equipment supporting production, and material handling.
  • Cooperates and collaborates with peers in determining maintenance priorities.
  • Conducts all maintenance activities ensuring adherence to various governmental laws, codes, regulations, and insurance standards, as related to maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Make recommendations as required to the Maintenance Manager for equipment repair, replacement, and spare parts.
  • Perform maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager ensuring proper maintenance and safety, on all appropriate equipment in the facility.
  • Ensures continuous support is provided such that the plant suffers from minimal work stoppage for production.
  • Able to diagnose problems with machinery: able to test and make adjustments.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience and/or vocational training in all aspects of maintenance activities.
  • Strong experience with rebuilding and maintaining pumps and equipment.
  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance function with Mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Experience working in outdoor environments as well as enclosed spaces, as well as knowledge of appropriate safety protocols for various environments.

Salary:$18.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Varies depending on department needs
